Who makes SavvyVan, the declaration of conformity that covers it, the radio it uses, how long SavvyVan3 gets security updates and how to tell us about a security problem - plus what to do with it once it has reached the end of its life.

Declaration of conformity
Our EU declaration of conformity says which rules SavvyVan3 meets, the standards it was assessed against, and exactly which products it covers:
- SavvyVan3, with its 5” and 7” touch screens
- the SavvyStance v2, SavvyTanks V3, SavvyPropex, SavvyLights and Autoterm add-ons

Radio
SavvyVan3 joins your WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), and uses low-energy wireless for its add-ons and for batteries that report themselves. The add-ons use low-energy wireless only.
- Frequency band: 2400 to 2483.5 MHz - the 2.4GHz band
- Maximum transmit power: no more than 20 dBm (100 mW) EIRP
Security updates
SavvyVan3 gets security updates until at least 31 December 2029.
That date can only ever move later, never earlier. Updates arrive over WiFi, the same way new features do, so keep the panel connected to receive them.
Reporting a security problem
Think you have found a security problem in SavvyVan3, one of its add-ons or the phone app? Thank you - please tell us.
- Email info@savvyvan.com with “Security” in the subject line, saying what you found and how to make it happen.
- You do not need to give your name or anything else about yourself.
- We will acknowledge your report within 10 working days, and update you at least every 60 days until it is resolved.
Recycling it
SavvyVan products are electrical equipment, so when one reaches the end of its life it must not go in your household rubbish. Take it to the electrical recycling at your local household waste recycling centre, where it can be taken apart and its materials reused safely. Not sure where that is?
