Register your device

Registering your SavvyVan3 takes two minutes. Do it within 12 months of the date it was dispatched and it adds a second year of warranty, free. It also means we can tell you when an update lands, and find your details quickly if something ever goes wrong.

You will need
The serial from your main control unit, starting SV.3.0.

Which serial, and where to find it

The SavvyVan3 main control unit only. Its serial starts SV.3.0., and the free second year is for the panel alone. Add-ons like SavvyTanks, SavvyShunt and SavvyStance carry the standard 12-month warranty, so there is nothing to register for them.

You need it exactly as printed: we look it up rather than guess, so a near-miss will not do. Two places, whichever is easier:

  • On the control unit itself, printed on the case.
  • On the screen - Settings → System Information. That page also shows your hardware and software versions, which are worth noting while you are there.

Start with the serial number. We will check it and show you what it is before you fill in anything else.

We use this to record who owns the device, to work out your warranty dates, and to tell you about updates for it. See our privacy policy and the warranty terms.

The second year, and when it applies

The standard warranty runs 12 months from the date your panel was dispatched. Register inside that window and it becomes 24 months.

Register after it and the registration still stands - we still have your details - but the free second year has gone. We would rather say so plainly than let you find out when you need it.

For a handful of older units we have no dispatch date on file, so we go from the build date instead. The page and your confirmation email always say which we used, so you can tell us if it looks wrong.

The page tells you which of those applies to your device the moment you submit, and the confirmation email says the same thing with the dates on it.

What happens next

You get a confirmation email straight away with your serial, your dispatch date and the date your warranty runs to. Nothing else changes - no newsletter you did not ask for, and we do not pass your details on.

If you would like to hear when updates land, there is a separate mailing list sign-up, which you can leave at any time.

Stuck on any of this? Get in touch - we would rather help than have you guess.
