A mirror on the wall, until you switch it on

The mirrored screen is SavvyVan3 with its 7-inch touch screen behind a mirror. Switched off, it is a mirror - a proper one, good enough to get ready in. Switch it on and the whole panel shows straight through the glass.

The mirrored screen switched off on a wood-panelled van wall above a USB and mains socket: a mirror reflecting the van's rear seats and kitchen, with the SavvyVan name small along its bottom edge The same mirror switched on: the SavvyVan3 home screen shows through it - the battery at 78%, eight tiles from Battery to Water, the water tank at 80%, the heater at 21°C and the week's weather

It is a complete SavvyVan3 and does everything one does. On its own it switches eight circuits and reads the battery's voltage and the temperature; tank levels need SavvyTanks, heating the Propex or Autoterm module, a real battery percentage a SavvyShunt or a battery that reports itself, and dimming SavvyLights.

Switched off, it is a mirror

No screen to see and nothing to give it away - just a mirror on the wall, with our name small along the bottom. It is a real mirror, not a dark screen pretending to be one, so it earns its place in a van where every bit of wall has to work.

The mirrored screen switched off on a wood-panelled van wall, with a woman brushing on make-up reflected clearly in it, above a USB and mains socket and an Autoterm heater controller, beside a reading light

Switched on, it is the whole panel

Every page of SavvyVan3 shows straight through the glass, and you work it with a touch exactly as you would the standard screen.

  • The Power Management page through the mirror: the battery at 78%, 0 days 6 hours, 7.3A, 13.4V and 97.8W, beside a day's graph of the voltage

    Power

The battery, its history and what the van is drawing. A percentage needs a SavvyShunt or a battery that reports itself.

  • The Tank Levels page through the mirror: fresh water 80%, grey waste 40%, black waste 20% and LPG 60%

    Tanks

Fresh, grey and black water and the gas, with SavvyTanks.

  • The Propex heater page through the mirror: set to 21°C and reading 18.6°C, running on gas, with the gas bottle at 70%

    Heating

The heater from the screen, with the Propex or Autoterm module.

  • The levelling page through the mirror: left is low, raise by 2 cm, and front is low, raise by 12 cm, with a Set Level button

    Levelling

Which wheel to lift, and by how much, with SavvyStance.

  • The LED Controller page through the mirror: six dimmable lights from Ceiling to Step, and four scenes - On/Off, Evening, Barbecue and Bed time

    Lights

Dimming and saved scenes, with SavvyLights.

In whichever colour you choose

The panel's colour themes all show through the mirror. Tap one to see it, or switch it off.
