SavvyTanks V3 is capable of monitoring:
Up to 3 water sensors for your 'Fresh', 'Grey' and 'Black tanks. SavvyTanks works with CBE PC200 tank probes, whether purchased from us or elsewhere.
LPG tanks with built in 0-90 or 0-95 ohm sender. We typically see Gasit and Propex underslung tanks been connected but all 0-95 ohm senders are compatible.
Control 12v Gas Isolation Solenoid using the built in Ultra Low Current Driver
Grey Waster remote drain point.
SavvyTanksV3 connects back to our control panels using Bluetooth so no wiring is required*
*Please note: SavvyTanks V3 is not compatible With SavvyVan Lite
As we try to keep our device as simple as possible, the only thing in the box is SavvyTanks V3. You may have ordered additional water sensors to work with your device.
Wiring up our device couldn't be simpler. Our module needs only a 12v power supply and to be connected to the sensors of your choice.
To power all of our Add-On's, we simply require a 12v 1a fused supply. As clearly marked on the device, please wire up the 12v supply via the +/- power screw terminals. Ensure you correctly wire the device, incorrect polarity may damage the unit.
To connect your CBE PC200 Water sensors, remove the white connector from the sender and extend the cable if needed. Please note that the plastic cap at the end of the probes need to stay on.
On the Tanks unit you will see Tanks 1 - 3 clearly marked. You can use any of these connections for your water probe however the default configuration is:
Tank 1 - Fresh Water
Tank 2 - Grey Water
Tank 3 - Black water.
This is configurable within the display unit.
Connect your wires as labelled:
White = W
Brown = B
Green - G
SavvyTanks will work with any 0-90 or 0-95 ohm sender. The wiring is not polarity specific and so these can be wired up to the GAS screw terminals either way round.
From your Gas sender, you should have 2 wires, simply connect these to SavvyTanks to the connectors labelled GAS.
SavvyTanks V3 has a built in Ultra Low Current Driver and is capable of controlling the remote gas solenoid for your underslung gas tanks. This is fully tested with Gasit, Propex and Autogas2000 tanks. However will work with any 12v solenoid.
To connect your solenoid, connect the +/- from your solenoid to the +/- Solenoid terminals on the SavvyTanks V3 module.
SavvyTanks V3 can connect to a 12v auto return remote drain valve for your water tank.
To connect your 12v operated drain valve. Connect the live wire to your 12v feed as per the manufacturer’s recommendation. To switch the supply from on/off which will activate the valve, connect your Negative wire from the valve into 1 of the terminals on relay 1 or 2. Then the other terminal to ground.
Our system works by disconnecting and reconnecting the single wire passing through each Relay
SavvyTanks V3 has 2 relays built in and can be used for any accessoriy with a max of 10a per relay.
To connect an accessory, connect the live wire to your 12v feed as per the manufacturer’s recommendation. To switch the supply from on/off, connect the negative wire from the valve into 1 of the terminals on relay 1 or 2. Then the other terminal to ground.
Our system works by disconnecting and reconnecting the single wire passing through each Relay
To connect to SavvyTanks V3 via Bluetooth using your SavvyVan display, please navigate to Installer settings > Enter your passcode > Bluetooth Devices > Scan for devices.
Your SavvyVan unit will search for nearby Bluetooth devices, please select the Green + next to 'TanksV3' as shown below

Clicking on the Tank icon will take you to the main tank page where all tanks and their status are visible.
